Wildspice® Carolina Barbeque Rub

Wildspice® Carolina Barbeque Rub is spicy, hot, and exotic. Use it on slow
smoked pork shoulder, grilled chicken, shish kebob, lamb, shrimp, scallops or
you name it. Or make our Wildspice Carolina Barbeque Sauce and have a party.
Carolina Barbeque Rub is also delicious as a seasoning- try it in your tomato
juice, or in a Carolina Bloody Mary, in crab cakes or on roasted potatoes.
Rub Directions:
Place several spoonfuls of the rub seasoning mix on a clean plate. Dredge
pieces of meat, fish or poultry in the mixture, lightly coating each side. Cook
or grill as preferred. Rub may also be sprinkled on ribs, seafood, cut meat or
poultry on skewers.
Wildspice Carolina Barbeque Sauce:
1 31oz can diced tomatoes
¼ cup Carolina Barbeque Rub
¾ cup brown sugar
1 lemon, juiced
1 lime, juiced
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
Mix all ingredients together in food processor, puree until smooth, simmer over
medium high heat until reduced by half. Cool.
